Below are the charts from the university’s COVID-19 dashboard as published during fall 2022.

Positive PCR Test Results On Campus By Week

Chart summary: This bar chart begins on August 22, 2022 and shows weekly positive test results split out by students and employees. Through the end of August, there were about 50 positives per week with roughly 70 to 80 percent of those among students. By mid-September, positives were up to 226 a week with about 90 percent of those in students. By late September, weekly positives were back down to about 60. Starting in October, weekly positives had dropped to about 25 to 30, with a little more of those coming from students than from employees.

Total PCR Tests On Campus By Week

Chart summary: This bar chart begins on August 22, 2022 and shows weekly test administered by University Health Services split out by students and employees. Through the end of August, there were about 400 tests per week with students accounting for a bit more than half of the total. By mid-September, total tests were up to 935 with about 80% of those among students. By late September, total weekly tests were about 500. Beginning in Ocotober, weekly tests held at about 300 to 400.

Notable events

August 29, 2022: In advance of the fall 2022 semester, the dashboard has returned to splitting out student and employees testing numbers. Past versions of the dashboard are linked below in the About the Data section.

December 24, 2022: Last day of campus PCR testing for employees. Students with symptoms now need to schedule an appointment with a provider to get a PCR test.

About the Data

This dashboard features data from testing performed on campus.
In keeping with the state’s COVID-19 reporting practices, results from self-administered antigen tests are not being collected or reported on this dashboard. Currently the state requirement for reporting is a positive PCR test or a positive antigen test administered by a trained individual at a testing site.
This dashboard does not distinguish between students living on or off campus.
By the end of the 2021-2022 academic year, more than 95% of the campus community had completed the initial COVID-19 vaccination series. Given the close of the academic year, this information is no longer reflected on the dashboard. University Health Services continues to offer COVID-19 vaccination, including first and second booster shots, free to all eligible students and employees.
