  • About the Data

    • This dashboard features data from testing performed on campus.
    • Testing data includes results from voluntary testing available to students and employees. Students who are also employees are counted under students. Mandatory, on-campus testing of unvaccinated individuals — employees and students — was paused effective April 4, 2022
    • In keeping with the state’s COVID-19 reporting practices, results from self-administered antigen tests are not being collected or reported on this dashboard. Currently the state requirement for reporting is a positive PCR test or a positive antigen test administered by a trained individual at a testing site.
    • Vaccination data is based on the number of enrolled students coming to the main UW–Madison campus for any purpose and on the number of employees on the main UW–Madison campus.
    • This dashboard does not distinguish between students living on or off campus.
